About Us

Curious Play Labs is a warm and lively learning environment for kids of all ages. CPL offers workshops that are alternative, more holistic learning opportunities, mostly relating to science (the world around), art (aesthetics) and material exploration (working with hands and creating). The workshops are based on research and are conducted by highly qualified educators who share passion for research- based education, pedagogy and learning methods.

Our Story

The organization, Curious Play Labs was started with an intent to offer the kind of science education that our kids deserve- which is based on experiential learning that combines

(1) true experimentation,

(2) learning from beyond books and classrooms,

(3) focus on analysis rather than facts,

(4) allowing a free environment that allows uninhibited questioning,

(5) connecting real- world experiences and common phenomenon to the theory in books,

(6) inculcating ‘research- based and logic- based problem solving’ in common life.

The focus was on elder school- aged kids, who are slowly losing interest and touch with science, because oh, how boring it is!

Whereas elder kids were hesitant to invest in such an ‘alternative’ methodology of learning, young parents were most enthusiastic and open to providing alternative learning opportunities for their little kids. And this is how our journey into early childhood education began. With the founder of CPL having a toddler child of her own, she understood the way kids perceived the world around them, how they learnt from their actions, and what piqued their interest.

With a different set of challenges with younger learners, the team of facilitators at CPL is enthusiastically creating alternative learning opportunities that complement the conventional  education that the kids receive.
